Other systems we've tested:

Ken Coyote of Silver Puppy (SP) fame and I swapped systems about a year ago. I tested SP quite extensively and was very favorably impressed.

The SP doesn't measure conductivity; it's shuts off based on voltage drop which is pretty good when the system is in current limit. SP has a LED the brightness of which tells the user how pure the distilled water is. It's not very useful in my opinion. Further, the amount of silver added to each batch of CS will vary as the quality of the DW varies. That is to say, if you started with 5 uS of impurity in the DW, the CS would have 5 uS less ionic silver in the final CS brew! If Ken had a conductivity meter in his system, I'd buy it and close up Colloidaltech. Oh don't look now, I think that's what he's planning to do!

All the technical stuff aside, buy good pure DW, and SP is a great system especially for the money. Ken is also one of the nicest men in CS and helped me improve Smart Stirrer.
