Proper Silver Electrode Shape ...
is important if you want to keep silver particles small. The
trick is to keep the current low and to equalize that
current over the entire surface area of the electrodes.

smooth, continuous cylindrical shape to the

electrodes in the photo (at right).
Many competitors use thin rectangular strips of silver as
electrodes. This creates (current) hot spots on
the edges resulting in unnecessarily large silver
particles. The only reason a colloidal silver generator would
use thin strips of silver as electrodes is to
